About 6 miles south of the ranch is largest county park in the US, the 10,000 acre Beaver Creek Park. This treasured community resource boasts stream and lake fishing, swimming, camping, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. Downhill skiing is available on a weather-permitting basis at the nearby Bear Paw Ski Bowl.
Great Falls, Montana's 3 rd largest city, is home to the C.M. Russell Museum and Art Auction, the internationally recognized Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center on the Missouri River, and Giant Springs, one of the largest fresh water springs in the world. Driving from Great Falls to Beaver Creek Ranch is accessible throughout the year via US Highway 87. The last 2 ½ miles to the ranch are by a county-maintained gravel road.
This region of Montana, know as Russell Country for its famous cowboy-artist, Charles Marion Russell, is graced by beautiful landscapes and "Big Sky". Glacier National Park lies 170 miles due west of the ranch. Missouri Breaks National Monument is about 60 miles to the south.
